  1. CHICKEN TIKKA KABAB RECIPE Make a delicious chicken tikka kabab recipe at home. Chicken tikka is a popular Indian dish. These are chicken marinated in a spicy yogurt and roasted in a grill pan. For enhancing taste we will have to perform double marination on chicken pieces. INGREDIENTS (1st marination):
  2. 1) Boneless chicken pieces - 300g 2) Ginger-garlic paste - 1 tbsp 3) Salt - 1 tsp 4) Lemon - half Cut the chicken into 2 inch pieces and add them to a bowl. For this recipe I used about 300 grams of chicken. Add ginger garlic paste, salt and lemon to the chicken and marinate this for 30 minutes. INGREDIENTS (2nd marination): 1) Hung curd (thick curd / yogurt) - 4 tbsp 2) Turmeric - half tsp 3) Salt - 1 tsp 4) Red chilly powder 2-3 tsp 5) Black pepper powder - 1 tsp 6) Ginger - garlic paste -1 tsp 7) Chicken masala - 1.5 tsp 8) Kasuri methi - half tsp (crushed) 9) Red food colour - 1/4th tsp 10) Coriander powder -1 tsp 11) Cumin powder - 1/2 tsp
  3. 12) Lemon - half 13) Oil- 4 tbsp (for roasting) Steps for preparation: In a bowl add all the ingredients, yogurt, turmeric, red chilly powder, black pepper powder, ginger garlic paste, chicken masala, Kasuri methi, Red food colour, Coriander powder, cumin powder and lemon. Mix all the ingredients well. Add half marinated chicken pieces and coat it well. keep this in the refrigerator for 5-6 hours. For roasting: Add 4 tbsp oil in a grill pan. Drop marinated chicken pieces in batches on medium flame. Keep flipping occasionally. Roast on medium to low flame. For even cooking, close the lid. Keep checking n flipping sides chicken tikka kabab will be ready in 15 to 20 minutes. The chicken should be soft and well roasted. Turn off the flame.
