Rivendell Academy Class of 2013
     Mathematics Benchmark Scores



•The state of Vermont uses the New England Common
Assessment Program (NECAP) to measure adequate yearly
progress; students are assessed in Reading, Mathematics,
Writing, and Science in grades 3-8 and grade 11.
•The current 11th grade class scored highest in the state for
Reading and Writing combined, with 66% of students meeting
proficiency in Reading and 92% in Writing.
•However, Mathematics scores were low, at 36% proficiency.
•We will look at some data to better understand this.
