Who is this!2 This is the answer to the first part of this presentation.
1. In 1999, Harper Collins publishers
declared a book wrote by this
person as one of the '100 Most
Important Spiritual Books of the
20th Century'.
This is the last clue and it doesn’t
have a mistake in it.
3. When he was young, he was so shy
that he would run home from school
because he could not bear to talk to
anybody.
4. He spoke English with an Irish
accent, thanks to an Irish man who
taught him.
5. He worked as an editor, for
newspapers in three different
languages in two different countries.
He loved his mother tongue and his
longest work is in that language.
6. The first postage stamp with his
picture was printed in Switzerland
for another country.
11. He refused to celebrate the first Day
of Independence of his own country.
12. In 1931, from London, he addressed
the people of US over the radio. The
first words they heard were “Do I
have to speak through this thing?”
13. He was sent from one foreign
country to another to collect some
huge debts.
He was a success there and, in the
1920s, his yearly income was 15,000
dollars which is still a dream for
many Indians who live now in that
particular country.
