been done before in many
departments to make it
easier to achieve this.
You can raise a funding
from ELKE for students to
participate on Global
Citizen. Use the knowledge
from LCs that have done
this before.
You have to put a lot of
pressure and track the
progress constantly!
When your activities,
events, programs help the
improvement of the
University Community
discuss the possibility of
having the University as a
sponsor for them!
AIESECers are the people
that should be more active
than anyone in the
university community!
Take initiatives that
directly help the
improvement of your
university and the
students. Participate in
university events,
cooperate with Uni
Services and Student clubs
and get known to
everyone!
How do AIESEC members and
Alumni impact the university
community?
What initiatives do they take?
How do they influence the
globalization of the
University?
Use the data to position the
organization better in the
university.
e.g. in AUEB, Mazin started
TEDxAUEB, Aleksia worked
on Social Impact Award,
Kostapanos started GloVo,
Xenia brought ReGeneration,
even influential professors
have been AIESECers
We often forget that our
relationship with the
professors should be
treated as any other
partnership.
There should be regular
communication and
benefits for both!
Also, we should arrange
very specific action steps
following every interaction
and keep track of their
progress and deadlines.
Have specific things in
mind to communicate to
the professors. This way
you will also have a reason
to arrange a meeting with
them.
e.g. I wanted them to know
about: Our Vision + Our
Programs, the LDM, latest
changes in the programs,
Recent results + Impact
Keep track of your
meetings with a tracking
tool where you have all the
information you need
about the professor, the
standards for
communication that you
have defined and the
follow-ups planned in your
meetings.
Show them how our
programs act as a
supplement for the
educational process.
Tell them how our
participants gain a
competitive edge!
Tell them that after those
changes we want to give
the opportunity to as many
students as possible to be
benefited by these
opportunities.
+1 They can be customized according to a specific
course/subject and they should be related to our
programs.
They are very effective for ELD Promotion!
They add value to the students!
The professors love them!
Running the internship
program of the university.
We can promote our
internships as alternative
options, cooperate in
events and help them in
their operations.
They connect the students
with career opportunities.
We promote our
international internships,
cooperate in events,
organize workshops for the
students and make our
programs known!
Research and actions to
promote entrepreneurship
and innovation.
There’s a lot of things
you can do with the
other student clubs. It
depends a lot on the
reality of each
university!

Ask about what the university needs
from AIESEC.
Take action and initiatives.
Add relevance to our programs.
Run a survey for the improvement
of the university.
They will immediately learn about
AIESEC and they will make plans to
participate in all of our programs!
Cooperate with other student clubs.
Keep it interesting.
Make this an annual tradition!
Post-graduate programs often have
a partnership with an internship
program. These students are also
very qualified. Why can’t the top-5
of the class every year participate in
Global Talent?
Cooperate with the Erasmus Office
to promote Global Citizen or Global
Talent to the students that were
rejected for Erasmus Placement.

  • 8. Learn about your university’s vision for the future and connect to it. Make this connection known to the rector, the professors, students, etc. e.g. AUEB’s pillars for the future are: Innovation, Extroversion, Excellence and Social Impact

  • 10. Have Global Talent or Global Citizen recognized officially as an internship. Use the fact that it has been done before in many departments to make it easier to achieve this.

  • 12. You can raise a funding from ELKE for students to participate on Global Citizen. Use the knowledge from LCs that have done this before. You have to put a lot of pressure and track the progress constantly!

  • 14. When your activities, events, programs help the improvement of the University Community discuss the possibility of having the University as a sponsor for them!

  • 16. AIESECers are the people that should be more active than anyone in the university community! Take initiatives that directly help the improvement of your university and the students. Participate in university events, cooperate with Uni Services and Student clubs and get known to everyone!

  • 18. How do AIESEC members and Alumni impact the university community? What initiatives do they take? How do they influence the globalization of the University? Use the data to position the organization better in the university. e.g. in AUEB, Mazin started TEDxAUEB, Aleksia worked on Social Impact Award, Kostapanos started GloVo, Xenia brought ReGeneration, even influential professors have been AIESECers

  • 20. We often forget that our relationship with the professors should be treated as any other partnership. There should be regular communication and benefits for both! Also, we should arrange very specific action steps following every interaction and keep track of their progress and deadlines.

  • 22. Have specific things in mind to communicate to the professors. This way you will also have a reason to arrange a meeting with them. e.g. I wanted them to know about: Our Vision + Our Programs, the LDM, latest changes in the programs, Recent results + Impact

  • 24. Keep track of your meetings with a tracking tool where you have all the information you need about the professor, the standards for communication that you have defined and the follow-ups planned in your meetings.

  • 51. Cooperate with the Erasmus Office to promote Global Citizen or Global Talent to the students that were rejected for Erasmus Placement. There’s A LOT of them! Maybe you can have a presentation about it in the official presentation of the program
