Forty years ago, I laid the foundation of my dream project -
the Ryan International Group of Institutions. In these forty
years, India has been abundantly blessed with material

were too shy to go on stage, they needed their
mother’s encouragement. Allowing our children to realise
their own potential, to be confident, independent and
empathetic, that is what every mother strives for. At Ryan

As a parent, our child’s future causes us much anxiety. It
is this very anxiety that motivated me, as a parent of three,

37 years ago, when my parents started Ryan School,
they had the foresight to understand the challenges of
the changing millennium. It is from them that I draw
inspiration when looking ahead at the years to come.
Planning for the future is essential in any educational

At Ryan Schools, our experience with education spans over four decades. Over
the years, we have developed an excellent road map to build a cohesive education
system. 40 years ago, Ryan School was established by a group of trustees
represented by members of the Christian community. The focus was to set up
schools of international standards, towards the promotion of quality education
and high moral values. All our schools therefore enjoy minority status as included

in Delhi and he qualified for the Indian team at the 61st national
shooting championship in Kerala.
Harshit Sehrawat has won 3 Gold medals in the categories
of under 18 and under 20 at the NATIONAL WRESTLING
CHAMPIONSHIP, 2018 held in Vishakhapatnam. He was also
selected for the JUNIOR ASIAN CHAMPIONSHIP to be held at
Uzbekistan from 20 to 30 April, 2018.
Karman Kaur Thandi has a career-high WTA singles ranking
of 307, achieved in 2017 and a career-high WTA doubles ranking of
566, achieved in 2016. She has won 3 ITF doubles titles.
At the young age of 16, Simran Singhi, a badminton prodigy
from Ryan International School (ICSE), Malad, Mumbai has
won over 100 prestigious District, State, Zonal, National and
International trophies. She has won 14 National Titles and many
more All India Titles. She has represented India in the Junior Asian

In 2000, Ryan was the first school in India to introduce the concept
of ‘Education Through Lens’. In the year 2002, the Limca Book of
Records certified Ryan as the first group of schools in India to have
its own state of-the-art, in-house broadcasting station, within the
school premises. Earlier in 2000, they also certified “Chikki - Dream
of a child” as India’s first film to be shot by 26 students. Ryan has
always been a pioneer in establishing the importance of vocational
courses, especially Mass Communication.
We have RYAN TV – A MEDIA INITIATIVE by Ryan Management.
Our one of a kind course, Beyond Breaking News (BBN), is telecast
on prominent TV channels such as Sahara One and Topper.
Ryan TV offers Certificate courses in journalism at Mumbai and
Bangalore, as well as courses in Advertising, Short Film-making and
Script Writing amongst others.
Students from across India attend these courses. We also host the
Ryan IAFA awards to encourage young ad filmmakers. They make
One Minute Films in diverse categories and the best films are
awarded by us. This is a great hands on experience for students
who want to begin a career in TV Journalism, Film-making and
Advertising. Additionally, this is also a great activity for students
to build self confidence, especially when they are meeting and
interviewing eminent people from various walks of life.

At Ryan we believe in the spirit of equality, empathy, tolerance and
care for others. It is very important for students in India to be exposed
to different cultures and societies, to experience other realities, in
order to raise awareness and empathy. These social skills will be
very important towards shaping the future of modern India. Ryan
International Schools undertake various social projects, based on six
parameters, to transform society in a positive way. These parameters
are: Compassion, Environment, Education, Health Care, Economic
Empowerment and Local Leadership Development. Ryan Foundation
is a member of the Global Compact Society, India, participating in the
United Nations Global Compact Society program. The objective of
this program is to exchange experiences, network and work together

Students at Ryan Global Schools (RGS) enjoy learner-centered teaching, with
an inquiry-based trans-disciplinary curriculum model. This means that teaching
