1.IEFBR14 is a dataset utility and it is a null program 2. when ever the operating system see these utility in the jcl it has operations has done a. first it has to check syntax of that particular jcl b. to process the DISP positional parameter in the jcl the two possible operation in disp positional parameter are it will create PS/PDS and delete PS/PDS
