In the recent years, huge improvements have been noticed in the world of technology and computerized systems. In the biomedical world, the equipment should features of user-friendly operation, portability, high level of safety and lower cost. These biomedical equipment ranges from medical diagnosis and treatments to provide supports for disable people for their daily movements.
In Bangladesh, to ensure better healthcare, we are looking forward to getting the best equipment with the least cost. The needs of my country basically motivate me in aiming this project.
This project has two parts, in the first part, the effort has made to build a simple, less expensive, graphic based heart beat rate monitor system which can be used for medical diagnosis. In the second part, an object detector system has been developed to help physically handicapped persons to detect object in front of them. The Object detector system can be modified for the vehicles safety as well as to minimize the risk at road accidents during travelling through foggy condition.

Why This Project? • The current trend in our society is to send age old civilizations into an old home, because they are unable to do their basic physical needs by themselves. • As a result we want to invent a system that can work as like as their helper. • We want to show how consumer devices like object detector system can be used here in order to their good will.

  28. 28. Who Becomes Benefited? For old and physically handicapped persons, previously unable to walk without anyone’s help or direction, now will be able to walk inside his own room safely.

  30. 30. Types of Notification 1) A vibrator: which will respond (vibrate) if the system found any objects in front of it. 2) A Led: which will respond (blink) if the system found any objects in front of it. 3) A speaker: which will respond (beep) if the system found any objects in front of it.

  32. 32. From the previous Image We can see that there is too much smoke in the road. It’s very difficult to see any vehicles standing or running with more then 50 meters distance. Possibility of road accident.

In a foggy winter morning We know that, at winter season there is too much smoke/due factor in the road. some times it becomes more challenging for the drivers to drive the bus/car or any vehicles specially at winter night or early morning. Now they can drive safely if system is installed within their loving vehicles. Suddenly it can save a lot of life.
