About the workshop host:
Martin Paltnoi is the Chief Executive of MPA
which was created in 1973 after spending
many years as a professional market
researcher involved mainly, but not exclusively,
in providing business intelligence for pharmaceutical
and healthcare industries on a national and
international level.
A qualified statistician and economist, was first introduced
to pharmaceuticals when invited to be included in
the small team to set up to provide audits for
pharmaceuticals by IMS in 1959/1960. After that
introduction to the market, spent a number of years in a
market research capacity in leading manufacturing
companies where the results of research into business
intelligence have been applied. Since 1973, he has been
supplying a business intelligence service for the industry
and is probably best known for his and his company’s
work in pharmaceutical patents. This has also included
providing a patent intelligence service for the parallel
trade industry sector. As such he has become a noted
expert in related matters like the Specific Mechanism,
covering trade from the Accession States.

The conference fee includes refreshments, lunch, conference papers, and access to the
Document Portal. Presentations that are available for download will be subject to
distribution rights by speakers. Please note that some presentations may not be available
for download. Access information for the document portal will be sent to the e-mail
address provided during registration. Details are sent within 24 hours post conference.
