8. Top Down Web Quizzes Helps students organize ideas while using alternate assessment techniques. The Keys to Literacy, created by Joan Sedita, uses this research based method to help students learn through the scaffolding of knowledge. Using Inspiration allows the teacher to give feedback directly on the web, which can then be saved directly to the student’s folder or email.
9. Quizzes cont. These alternative methods of testing help student’s sequential awareness as well as their verbal conceptualization. Performing these tasks also help students with graphomotor deficiency (for example students with dysgraphia) thus “leveling the playing field” in the classroom.
