The document proposes creating a time capsule at Southern Polytechnic State University (SPSU) to preserve items representing the school's legacy. The plan is to gather student, faculty, and alumni support; research time capsules; purchase a capsule with funding partners; collect representative items; and reveal the sealed capsule in 2015. The team fundraised, researched archives standards, and promoted the capsule on social media and flyers. They encountered challenges like financial costs but resolved them by partnering with other organizations to support a larger capsule housed in the library. The reveal event was a success.
3. OUR PLAN

2. GATHER SUPPORT from current SPSU students, faculty, staff, and alumni
3. ADVERTISE via social media (Facebook), the DWMA department, flyers, and word-of-mouth
4. RESEARCH time capsules, the time capsule society, and archival procedures
5. PURCHASE our time capsule, with the partnership of Rock on SPSU, Student Life, and SGA
6. FUNDRAISE for money to purchase a nameplate for the capsule
