Mobile marketing provides many opportunities but also risks of overuse and addiction. Some key points:
1) Mobile usage is widespread globally and in Italy, with people spending many hours daily on their smartphones.
2) Marketers can leverage mobile features to improve customer engagement, but apps must provide clear value to drive downloads and usage.
3) Gamification techniques like points, badges, and leaderboards can boost engagement, as seen in China's WeChat app ecosystem.
4) However, overuse of mobile apps can lead to behavioral addiction, raising privacy and psychological concerns. Brands must avoid intrusive practices that disrupt users' lives.
A handicapped person is someone who is prevented from fully participating in normal activities for their age group due to physical or mental conditions over an appreciable period of time. When a patient experiences a seizure in the dental office, the dentist should stop all procedures, lower the dental chair, maintain the mouth prop, loosen clothing, evaluate ABC, deliver oxygen, use suction, consider IV diazepam for severe cases, consult a physician and admit to the hospital if no response, and postpone further dental treatment.

This document provides tips for effective presentations. It discusses planning a presentation by determining the audience, goal, length and location. When preparing, one should structure the presentation with an objective, introduction, main content, summary and questions. Visual aids should use simple fonts and graphics with 3-7 bullet points per slide. When presenting, speak loudly and vary pitch and volume while making eye contact and engaging the audience. Proper preparation, practice and rehearsal are emphasized to avoid weaknesses like lack of experience, enthusiasm or confidence.
This document discusses consciousness and disorders of consciousness. It begins by explaining that normal consciousness depends on interaction between the cerebral hemispheres and rostral reticular activating system in the brainstem. Disorders that disrupt these areas can cause altered consciousness states like unconsciousness, confusion, delirium, and coma. Coma is defined as an unarousable, unresponsive state. The causes, assessments, and management of disorders of consciousness like coma are then outlined.
This document discusses various tools used to assess levels of consciousness in patients, including the Glasgow Coma Scale (GCS). The GCS is useful for grading altered consciousness and severity of central nervous system insults in adults and older children. It has disadvantages like being impossible to score if eyes cannot be opened or if a patient is intubated. The document also introduces the FOUR score and Modified Morray Coma Score, which aim to address some of the GCS limitations.
A prism is a transparent optical component bounded by planar surfaces that causes light to refract. It is used for diagnostic and therapeutic purposes in ophthalmology. The amount of light deviation caused by a prism depends on its incident angle, refracted angle, and refractive index. Prism power can be expressed in units like prism diopters and centrads and is used to relieve diplopia or build up fusional reserves. Prisms are also used in ophthalmic instruments and their power can be neutralized using hand or lensometer techniques.
