1. SixFaceCloud Developer’s Manual for Eclipse IDE
1. Download and unzip sfc-client.zip into the folder (e.g.: c:sfc-client)
2. Start Eclipse IDE
3. Create new Java Project -> Create project from existing source directory: c:sfc-client
4. Check Project properties: ensure Java Compiler -> Compiler compliance level is set to 1.6

5.1. Run examples in local mode
5.2. Change MCExecutionMode to LOCAL_MULTITHREAD if you want to run examples using all
accessible CPUs
5.3. Follow the steps below if you want to install cloud environment and to execute examples in
the cloud
For quick tests you can install cloud environment locally: server and one worker on the same local
PC
 Download and unzip cloud environment from company’s web-site into the folder (e.g.:
c:cloud)
 Set up your IP address in server and worker configuration files
Windows users can obtain their IP address using a cmd window command ipconfig

3.  Change ‘cloud.address’ property to your local IP address in the file
configcloud_serverspring_cloud_server.xml

4.  Change ‘cloud.address’ property to your local IP address in the file
configcloud_workerspring_cloud_worker.xml
 Start server

 Change respective example to CLOUD_CLIENT mode to run it in the cloud

7. 6. To turn on preloading feature in cloud client mode, use VM options
-javaagent:C:/sfc-client/lib/sfc-agent.jar
It allows accelerating your classes transfer to the cloud server
