Italia Nostra is the oldest Italian NGO, born in 1951 in Rome. The NGO is involved in the
promotion of the “culture of conservation” of urban landscape, rural landscape,
monuments and the environment in general.

The aim of the course is know, promote and
improve the every aspect concerning
landscape through multimedia methodologies,
with a multidisciplinary approach.

in central Italy”. Geographical, historical and
human approach.

6. Landascape Laboratories and Educational project
Educational and didactical path through the
Martani Mountains. This educational project
involved the Municipality of Giano dell’Umbria,
Laboratorio del Cittadino Onlus, and the Italian
Young Geologist Association.
People are improved to read the different
aspect of landscape with the 5 sense and, one
laboratories each sense. Is a Geo-turistical
Route created to sensitize the local community
about the natural-cultural heritage.

9th April 2013 Italia Nostra with
Laboratorio del Cittadino, Centro di
Educazione Regionale al Paesaggio, Gal,
Municipality of Castiglione del Lago and
the Minister of culture, organized a
conferences to present the first book of
Centro del Paesaggio concerning “Path
between Myth and Archeology on
Trasimeno Landscape.
During this day a lot of expert, politicians
and university professors explained the
importance of historical traces in the
Trasimeno area, from Romanian to
Etruschian.
In October and November we developed a
sort of itinerary training called “Grand
Tour in Umbria: art, landscape and
architecture in the Umbria”. During 5
meeting we run guided visits, thematic
visits, training and conference with expert
in different fields.
