por el regente y los alcaldes mayores del Reino de Galicia:
“dhas arboledas crian en heredades propias limitadas y amojonadas como
si fusen huertas o viñas y las benefician curándolas y labrándolas y
cortando de ellas de tantos en tantos años muy amenudo porque la tierra
es de tal calidad que quantomas se cortare, tanto mas naçe y crece y es
tanta la arboleda que produce que tiene necesidad de yrla entresacando
todos los años”.
Según esta fuente en las tierras particulares no eran “brauas sino que se
ponen y plantan y cultivan y que en dichas arboleadas hay muchas
diferencias de madera”
