AIM OF THE PROJECT
The „International University“ project aims to:
improve the learning process in the Faculty of Classical
and Modern Philology at Sofia University.
offer additional opportunities to students to practice the
language they study with native speakers

HOW THIS IS DONE?
Through non-formal lectures, presentations, panel
discussions and various types of interaction, prepared in
advance by our interns
the interns of the project act as YOUR language
assistants
It is expected that in a month and a half the students will
have a considerable and measurable improvement in their
writing and speaking language skills.
6. INTERNATIONAL UNIVERSITY
PLANNED ACTIVITIES
The language assistant:
works with all students from the language major of
his/her mother tongue. This is done in various forms on a
daily and weekly basis.
can deliver previously prepared lectures to the students
of the philology, which will cover the topics of their
country’s history, traditions, culture, etc.
take part in non-formal meetings with the students; thus
their language speaking skills will improve through
interaction and games
