2. REASON FOR BEING
 Patagonia started off as a small company making tools for
climbers.
 The companys goal is to preserve enviromental health by putting
time and effort as well as at least 1% of their sales into grassroot
enviromental groups all over the world.

3.  Worn wear is one of patagonias project which involves fixing and
reusing clothes, tools or other equipment.
 The company lets you trade in clothes, which they wash afterwards
and sell off after you get paid.
 Part of this project also involves guides on how to fix certain
things like luggage, zips, waterproof tools.

4. ENVIROMENTAL GRANTS
 The company states, that instead of giving large sums to a handful
of causes, they give modest grants, which typically range between
2500 € to 15000€ to hundreds of groups every year for whom this
money makes a world of difference.

5. BLACK FRIDAY
 Black Friday, a holiday known for its insanely high sales.
 Patagonia on Black Friday dibates 100% of sales to grassroots
enviromental groups

6. PATAGONIA AS A COMPANY
 Patagonia pledges to use business to inspire and implement
solutions to the enviromental crisis.
 They are trying to change the mindset that doing business and
protecting the planet are diametrically opposed and to do that, they
are using their own company as a something of a role model to this
new mindset

by the name „Let my people go
surfing“ which was revisited on its 10
year aniversary.
