effectiveness of conversion of an
additional PHC to an upgraded
PHC.

Introduction:
 The MorappurPanchayat union
dispensarywas started in the year 1978in
asmallhouse nearthe Morappurbus
standand wasnamed asprimaryhealth
centre in 1981.
 In 1985, a newbuilding was
constructed and itstarted functioningas
anadditional primaryhealth center with
6sub centers & 9 VillagePanchayats
coveringapopulationof 37,562 in and a
roundMorappurvillage.

 This Additional PHC wasconverted
into Upgraded PHC in the year2005.
 After the Up gradation andthe
initiation of NRHM,the Infrastructure
andServices have increased
dramaticallyin the Morappur PHC

 As an additionalPHC, the services
