MOE, IDA and Microsoft Launch Cyber Wellness Student Ambassador Programme
As part of the BackPackLIVE! Education Initiative, the programme will leverage positive peer influence to
drive awareness on Internet safety. The Cyber Wellness Student Ambassador Programme will not only equip
students with the right values and attitudes, but also knowledge and skills on how to use online tools safely
and responsibly. It will also provide schools with an extended platform to complement and support their
existing cyber wellness education efforts.
7:45am – The area is setup and ready for the launch. We did a final round of full-dress rehearsal with the
working committee.
8.40am – Arrival of Guest of Honour, Mr Masagos Zulkifli,
Senior Parliamentary Secretary, Ministry of Education and
Ministry of Home Affairs.

3. Launch of Cyber Wellness Student Ambassador Programme
9.00am: The start of the event in the hall where all the invited guests, participants and teachers are all
seated, waiting excitedly for the launch. The programme will start with a welcome speech by Ms Jessica Tan,
followed by an opening address by Mr Masagos.
Mr Masagos and Ms Jessica clicking on the giant Microsoft mouse to
commemorate the launch of Cyber Wellness Student Ambassador Programme.
4. Buddy Goes to School
Following the launch is the skit, Buddy Goes to
School, brought to you by Microsoft Singapore.
On the left: The lead actor and actress are

5. Training Workshop for Students
The students will undergo a 2 days workshop to understand and appreciate Cyber Wellness. After the
workshop, the students will be going back to their school and organize their own activities thus imparting the
knowledge gained and promoting Cyber Wellness to their peers.
The students are having so much fun during the workshop!
The trainers, Siti Khadijah and Nathaniel Tam are
having lunch with their Green class. From the first
half day training we can see that the students had
already bonded with the trainers.
The students will definitely enjoy and benefit most
from the enriching and engaging 2 days workshop!
