Project Coordinator – Sustainable livelihood interventions for 600 SC families in Jharsuguda – Supported by OSFDC
Project Profile: The project aims at organizing the excluded SC/ST Households into representational institutions-SHG, Farmer
Producers Company for financial mainstreaming and their effective participation in sub-sector value chains through
interventions in agriculture and Livestock development. SC/ST households those who are currently living below the poverty
line would be organized in a institutional forms and would be provided with technical, financial and business development
services for their livelihoods improvement.
Project Profile: The proposed project would create sustainable livelihoods opportunities for 600 poor Scheduled Caste families
of selected villages of Jharsuguda. In a cluster development approach these targeted households would be provided with
technical and financial support for improvement in their livelihoods through intervention in agriculture and livestock
development. Successful demonstration model would be grounded for wide dissemination of knowledge in the field of advance
agriculture technology and livestock rearing.

has been promoted and strengthened under this project.
