  2. Hack-A-MAZE Rule book TASK The team has to bring a prebuilt autonomous bot that can navigate through the maze. BOT SPECIFICATIONS Dimensions The dimensions of the bot should be less than or equal to 200 mm X 250 mm X 200 mm (l x w x h) failing which the team will be disqualified from the competition. An error of (-5%) is permitted.
  3. Components Bot shouldn’t contain any Wireless Communication devices such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, RF and ESP8266. Bot can use any sensors, algorithms and actuators to solve and navigate around the maze. Power supply The participants should use an on-board electric supply. the power source should be on the bot itself. The power source must be non-polluting and must satisfy the safety constraints determined by the organizers. In the case of an electric power supply, the voltage between any two points should be less than or equal to 24V DC at all times during the run. Please get your own cell chargers, Battery cells as it won’t be provided by the organizers.
  4. ARENA Maze Details • Maze consists of an entry point and exit point needs to be solved with some checkpoints. • There will be only dead - end turns, 90 degree turns. • Maze consists of checkpoints. Time taken to reach checkpoints by bots are noted. • If bot stops or gets stuck in maze penalty will be added and reset from last checkpoint. Calibration 10Mins are provided to calibrate and trial run for bot, before entering the maze this step is optional. a separate place will be given for calibration. If team takes time more than 10Mins to calibrate penalty will be added.
  5. Round 1: The bot is placed on the “START” tile of the maze. The bot needs to navigate through a given checkpoints in simple maze and reach the finish line. Bots are shortlisted based on solving maze and reaching checkpoints. Max time limit for bot to solve the maze is 10 Mins. Round 2: Selected teams are allowed to place their bot on the “START” tile of Maze 2, the bot has to navigate through the easiest path and should reach the “FINISH” line. The bot which takes the least time, number of checkpoints with lowest number of penalty will be considered as winners. Max time limit for bot to solve the maze is 10 Mins.
  6. Certificate Policy: ● Winner and runner teams are given the prize the same day. ● All participants are mailed with an e-certificate of participation shortly after the event. THE ORGANIZERS RETAIN THE RIGHTS TO MODIFY ANY AND EVERY RULE IF FOUND NECESSARY.
