Cornelia: (Touches the pearls) and as smooth as silk, too. Mrs. Barrera: See these glittering red rubies? Cornelia: They’re as red as glowing coals.

Cornelia: (Draws her two boys beside her) Here they are. They are the finest sons a mother could ever have. To me they are more precious than all costly jewels.
