HISTORY
• Foundation laid by Mr. Sakichi Toyoda
as TOYODA AUTOMATIC LOOM WORKS Ltd founded in
1926.
• In September 1933, an automobile department
established within TOYODA AUTOMATIC LOOM WORKS.
• In September 1934, TOYODA AUTOMATIC LOOM
WORKS manufactured its first Type-A engine.
• In August 1937, Toyoda’s automobile department
separated as another company named as TOYOTA
MOTOR CORP.
• Mr. Kiichiro Toyoda, the founder of TOYOTA MOTOR
CORP.
