JOB SUMMARY / MAIN PURPOSE The Senior Human Resources Officer will be responsible for assisting
in the provision of an efficient and effective Recruitment and Selection service to the Trust ,responsible for
ensuring that key objectives, relating to the Recruitment and Selection service are achieved. also liaise
with the Service Groups,to which we are linked ,to ensure that the service provided meets their needs. As
a Senior HR Officer will have the necessary skills to deliver an effective Recruitment and Selection
service to the Trust. also have allocated responsibilities, to be expected to work in collaboration with
colleagues within the section to ensure the delivery of an effective and efficient service. to work
closely with other members of the Corporate Human Resources Team, contributing to development of
a range of initiatives and achievements of objectives. MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES 1.To
ensure that they and their team promote and maintain a high standard of professional recruitment
practice.2.To provide advice and guidance on all aspects of the Human Resources function relating
to recruitment and selection matters and associated terms and conditions.3.work closely with
each Service Group under their remit, to ensure that the recruitment service they deliver meets
the Service Groups needs.4.To provide regular reports to Service Groups on their recruitment
and selection activity.5.Where Service Groups have identified the need to maintain waiting lists are
proactively maintained and pre-employment checks planned appropriately in advance.This will enable
posts to be filled promptly following receipt of a job advertisement request.6.To deliver recruitment
and selection training to managers across the Trust and to keep the material delivered under continuous
review ensuring that is remains current and up to the mark
