14. “NVIDIA Signs Massive Deal
with China’s Kingpins”

NVIDIA Tesla V100, a 120 TeraFLOPS processor created to drive the next wave of AI, was adopted by Alibaba, Baidu, and
Tencent for their datacenters and cloud service infrastructures. Researchers and startups can now rent the most advanced
AI infrastructure in the cloud and avoid the complexities and expense of building a supercomputer. In addition, Huawei,
Inspur, and Lenovo are using the NVIDIA HGX reference architecture to offer Volta-based servers for enterprises requiring a
dedicated AI supercomputer.

15. “NVIDIA GPU Cloud Democratizes AI for Developers on AWS”

NVIDIA GPU Cloud (NGC) simplifies AI development for a rapidly growing base of users. NGC manages a catalog of
integrated and optimized deep learning framework containers, and can run on any computing environment, from PCs to
datacenters or in the cloud. We announced availability of NGC on Amazon Web Services, which also launched the first
cloud instances powered by Tesla V100.

16. In Taiwan, we announced an extensive partnership with the country’s Ministry of Science and Technology centered on
building the country’s first AI-focused supercomputer at the National Center for High-Performance Computing. Based on
the NVIDIA DGX computing platform, it aims to reach 4 petaflops of performance — placing it among the world’s top 25
fastest supercomputers. The new partnership will also include professional training, startup development, and
investments in the country’s “AI Edge” semiconductor competitiveness initiative.

AI will infuse intelligence into 20 million cloud servers, hundreds of millions of autonomous machines, and trillions
of IoT devices. But AI inferencing platforms must be programmable to run the increasingly diverse, and more
complex, AI networks. We announced TensorRT 3, the world’s first programmable inference accelerator, which sharply
boosts the performance and slashes the cost of inferencing, from the cloud to edge devices. TensorRT supports all
frameworks and determines the optimal strategy for each target GPU.

18. “NVIDIA Tech Radically Improves
AI Inferencing Efficiency”

The performance of TensorRT is groundbreaking. TensorRT 3 on Volta speeds up image classification 40X over the fastest
CPU, and 140X for language translation. With such performance, just one 8-GPU server can replace 160 dual-CPU servers.

“NVIDIA Has Now Become the Leader in Autonomous-Driving Technology”

Transportation is the fabric of society. Autonomous vehicles will change it forever. To help the industry adopt AVs, NVIDIA
created the DRIVE platform. Based on a powerful AI car computer and ASIL-D operating system, the open platform brings
together algorithms, tools, and a suite of self-driving car applications.

20. Ride-hailing services have seen exponential growth in recent years. Now, providers are looking to move quickly toward
completely driverless robotaxis — fully-autonomous, Level 5 vehicles that rely on redundant sets of sensors like LIDAR
and 360-degree surround cameras with the precision to keep riders safe. Expected to be the first Level 5 vehicles on
city streets, robotaxis will demand a high-performance mobile computer that can process real-time data streams and
maintain completely fail-safe operation.

Self-driving cars are just one exciting area of autonomous machines. It will soon be possible to create many other classes of
machines that can perceive their surroundings, understand their situation, and reason about what to do next. Created to
power the new era of autonomous machines, the NVIDIA Jetson platform is a pocket-sized AI supercomputer complemented
by the JetPack SDK and DIGITS deep learning development environment. The NVIDIA Isaac robot simulator allows developers

Robotics will revolutionize manufacturing, logistics, and delivery. JD.com, one of the world’s largest retailers and operators
of logistics, has adopted the NVIDIA Jetson platform for autonomous machines.

25. One billion smart cameras will be deployed by 2020 to make our cities smarter and safer. But it will be impossible to
manually monitor them. Building the AI City is a massive inference challenge. NVIDIA Metropolis is an edge-to-cloud
platform that brings the power of AI to smart city applications, from improving traffic to enhancing law enforcement.
Hikvision, the world’s leading intelligent video solutions company, adopted the NVIDIA platform from end to end. Alibaba,
Dahua, and Huawei have also created AI solutions on NVIDIA.
