2. Eight years on, a new terrorist leader, Bane, overwhelms
Gotham's finest, and the Dark Knight resurfaces to protect a
city that has branded him an enemy.
4. Certifications!..
The BBFC certified the film with a rating of PG 12,
The Motion Picture Rating certified it with PG 13
because for the intense sequences of violence and
action, some sensuality and language
5. My Thoughts:
I would rate the film a rating of PG12 because there is some sort
of violence and offensive language spoken. So therefore a child
must be supervised with this sort of behaviour. Also because all o
the BATMAN movies are aimed at this audience group.
Also because even though the film contains some source of
violence, the violence is not that extreme like American History X
which delivers a searing scenes of rape, pervasive language,
strong sexuality and nudity. American History X was rated 18.
I didn’t get the chance to watch this movie of the Batman sequel,
but from the reviews and posts I have read from different sources I
have a sense of thinking that it looks absolutely awesome!
Especially after watching the trailer, it gets all the ticks from me; its
got the thrill, suspense, action, ad reline everything!!
8. Critics!
New Yorker film critic David Denby revealed "Do the Movies Have a
Future?“
Commenting on based on all of the Batman films, Denby questioned
whether the film was just another predictable heroic crime movies.
The audience theory he used to back his points up was the culminate
theory; the audience getting used to the predictable crime, thrill and
drama.
9. Uses And Gratifications
Theory
4.Entertainment
The Dark Knight comes under Entertainment in the uses and gratifications
theory. The movie is pumped up with lots of suspense and thrill,
entertaining it’s audience in every way to make them want to feel a part
of all of the action and macho.
