Refers to more than one fluid medium , for example
oil , water and gas.

Multiphase Flow:
Number of flow regimes may be divided into two
broad divisions :
 Where one phase is continuous.
 Ex: Bubble , Spray & Froth flow.
 Liquid is the continuous phase in bubble flow and gas is
the continuous phase in the other two.
 Where both phases are continuous.
