2. This is my Facebook Company
page. It has been coded using
FBML to make it a microsite.
The great thing about this
microsite is it allows you to have
a branded website inside
Facebook. Studies have shown
that the majority of people do not
like leaving Facebook to visit a
website.
This microsite can be branded to
a companyʼs standards, and
provide the pages they desire.
The microsite can also have sub-
tabs on each page to make the
microsite even more diverse.

blog. My audience is small
to medium size business
executives. The dark

carousel the slides the
various blog posts for

a vlog (video blog).
This blog provides external
links and other blogs /
articles to help educate the

any services or products.
8. This is my personal website. My audience is small to
medium size business executives. My marketing
consulting work specializes in Target Marketing.
This website has been written in the terms of “how to
increase leads”.
The site has also been optimized for Google, Yahoo,
and Bing. Utilizing key word analysis tools this site is
SEO optimized, and is experiencing triple digit growth.
9. Even though Social Media is exploding in the business world and media outlets
are reporting this - many business people do not fully understand it. They still think
Social Media is for teenagers. Nielsen Research reported in October 2009 that baby-
boomers were the largest age group on Facebook.
To ensure the audience understands the importance of Social Media marketing this
site has two of the best videos on Social Media. They are “Social Media in Plain
English” by CommonCraft, and “Social Media Revolution” by Socialnomics.
When you click on the video link the popup box (shadow box) appears to play the
video.

important to their business.
11. These are typical “Contact Us” and “Our Services” pages. The thing to note is how
little contact information is being requested. To many sites ask for more information
than most people are comfortable in providing, so the person leaves the site.
In Inbound Marketing it is all about relationships. Asking for to much information so
soon in the relationship building process is like being to aggressive on the first date.
12. In todayʼs Inbound marketing world a blog should be included on all websites. This
is a very effective way to help draw people to your website. This site is using videos
for the vlog (video blog).
Many organizations do not because they feel there is not enough time to devote to
the writing of the blog. To overcome the time constraint organizations are utilizing
ghost writers to help.
