Cultural District for (3) additional grant
opportunities for Rocky Neck, Essex, and
Downtown CD’s.
14. Wearable Art Holiday Show
• 16 Artists sold $10,908 with 15% to seARTS

22. Pecha Kucha Presentation (P-K)
• What is this? A new style of mambo? Peruvian lemonade?
Baby talk for “change the channel?”
• None of the above. PechaKucha is the latest craze in
intellectual entertainment, a world-wide phenomenon
that’s part education, part meet-up, and all fun. Born in
Japan, PechaKucha (pronounced peh-CHAK-cha) is a
gathering of people making and witnessing presentations
on just about any topic. The only limitation is the format:
with 20 slides at 20 seconds each, presentations are fast-
paced, rhythmic, sometimes poetic idea events.
