I asked this question because I
wanted to find out what the main
age group that I will be aiming my
magazine towards. These results
clearly show that the age group 1318 will be the target audience of the
magazine. The results gathered will
inform my planning because I will
make the magazine appropriate for
teenagers. This research has been
useful because it has made a clear
outline of what age group the
people who will be reading my
magazine belong to.

I asked this question so I know what
price range people will be most likely
to buy my magazine at. The results
show clearly that customers
wouldn’t buy the magazine if it was
over £1.99 as only 4 out of 20 people
agreed to do so. These results do
show that customers would be most
likely to spend between £1 and
£1.49 as that is the most popular
option chosen. This research will
inform me when planning my
magazine as I will know what price to
label the magazine at to be most
suitable to the needs of my target
audience. This research was useful
because I now know what price I
should label my magazine to meet
the needs of most customers.

I asked this question because it will help
me to know what colours to use on the
front of my magazine for the house style.
These results show that Black and white
are the two colours most associated with
the indie rock genre. These results will
inform me in my planning, that I should

I asked this question because it will give me a good
idea on what I should include as one of my
incentives on the front cover. The results show
clearly that people would like to get free concert
tickets in the magazine. These results will inform me
in my planning that I should have free concert
tickets and free CD’s as the incentives on the front
cover. This research is useful because it has given
me the knowledge that the readers would rather
get free tickets and CD’s over posters and band Tshirts.
