The purpose of the assignment: I am developing a Project for College students. This
research project is focused on bridging the gaps between Black Americans and Black
immigrants in Southern California. Essentially, I am asking the students to create a 15
question survey to be distributed to the immigrant population in the Inland Empire to
determine the landscape for Black migrants in SoCal. I also would like the students to do a
research paper that compares and contrast the social justice movements in Africa vs the
social justice movements in the US.Background about what the BWC is and how they are
relating to high level issue. What is the problem? How is the BWC involved in finding
solution to this problem?a non-profit organization that strives to train, organize and
advocate to advance Economic Justice for Blacks in the Region. The BWC main goal is to
create a positive working environment for Black workers in the region by changing public
policies and corporate practices in Riverside and San Bernardino County. The BWC is
committed to creating a working environment where Black workers are able to thrive and
have a voice. IWe use the word Black instead of African-American to be inclusive to all
Blacks whether that be Jamaicans, Africans, Haitains, Latino-Africans or Carribeans. It is
imperative that we bridge the gap between Black Americans and Black Immigrants as we all
our in the same fight for social and labor justice. This is an issue that needs to be addressed
and needs to be changed. Our porposed solution is to do research and conduct surveys to
find out how we can best serve, bridge the gap, and provide healing between Black
americans and Black immigrants.What is the project? Presentation, research paper, toolkit,
video, social media, etc.What are the project components?What exactly would you like to
see in the final product? Make sure that it is understandable for students and useful for
practitioners.Project Components:1. Write a 3-5 page research paper that compare and
contrast social justice movements in the US vs Africa2. Develop a 15 question survey to be
distrubited to Black immigrants to examine the landscape.3. 10 slide presenation
summarizing their findings.I have attached in the “uploaded file” an example of the
completed document. As well as the blank one that I need you to fill in. THE ONLY THING I
NEED YOU TO DO IS FILL IN THE BLANK DOCUMENT WITH THE INFORMATION I HAVE
PROVIDED ABOVE OF COURSE ADDING MORE DETAILS AND EXPLANATION FOR THE
