engaged in an intergenerational dialogue. The discussion addressed the question: Is there a
generation gap between America’s young and old? The panelists talked about issues such as
respect, communication, society structure, cultural diversity, technology, the economic and
the media. They all agreed that the mass communication revolution that has occurred as
become the “third parent” in the home, so that “real” parents are no longer the primary
provider of information to children.
