This document lists keyboard shortcuts in Rhino for navigating 3D views, adjusting the camera, and accessing commands. Shortcuts are organized by function and by key. To customize shortcuts, users can access the Keyboard page in the Options dialog box. Certain view navigation shortcuts like pan, rotate, zoom can be used with specific mouse buttons and keyboard modifiers like Shift, Ctrl, and Alt.

To view or change keyboard shortcuts
In the Options dialog box, on the Keyboard page, type a shortcut for a key.
Note: Rhino menus list the default keyboard shortcuts. If you change a command to a different
shortcut, the menus do not update to reflect this change.
Other shortcuts
Adjust the lens length of the camera in a Shift + Page Up
perspective view.

perspective view.
Endpoint object snap e
Layer Click the Layer pane on the status bar to open
the layer shortcut popup.
Right-click the Layer pane on the status bar to
open the Layers dialog box.
Ortho toggle O, F8, Shift , Ortho pane on the status bar.
Pan Shift + drag with the right mouse button .
In parallel views like the default Top, Front, and
Right view, drag with the right mouse button .
Shift or Ctrl + arrow keys.
Pan out Alt + mouse wheel
Ctrl + Page Down
Pan in Alt + mouse wheel
Ctrl + Page Up
Planar mode P, click the Planar pane on the status bar.
Rotate camera Ctrl + Alt + right mouse button drag
Rotate view Ctrl + Shift + drag with the right mouse button.
Perspective views and parallel views that are not
looking perpendicular to the construction plane
rotate with the right mouse button .
Snap toggle F9, Snap pane on the status bar.
Suspend object snaps Alt + click
Tilt left Ctrl + Shift + Page Up
Tilt right Ctrl + Shift + Page Down
Tilt the view Shift + Alt + right mouse button drag
