many as 125 employees, and controlled an annual budget in excess of two million dollars. Have
been accountable for a manufacturing quot;cellquot; which generated in excess of fifteen million dollars
annual revenue for the employer. Have been instrumental member of senior management team
that Implemented a growth plan for a contract manufacturer, which took annual revenues from
$900 K to $18 M in 3.5 years.
• Career has been intensely focused upon factory automation, and the associated capital
equipment, processes, and people required to successfully implement automation plans. Have
played a significant role in the improvement of both the quality and efficiency of the numerous

Talla-Com Industries
Manager of Commercial Business Development for an ISO 9001 Registered Electronic Contract
Manufacturer. Their business focus was the RF and the wireless communication industry. My
responsibilities and accountabilities included development and implementation of a marketing
strategy, and the technical sale of contract manufacturing services. July 1997 through January
1998, I was responsible for additional bookings of over $4 million per year in revenue. From June
1996 through July 1997, I served as Lead Manufacturing Engineer, with responsibilities for
automation engineering (equipment maintenance), process engineering, industrial engineering,
and tooling engineering. Budget generation / justification, technical personnel and strategy
management, capital equipment justification, and value-added process enhancements are all
components of this arena. I justified, purchased, and implemented the following capital equipment:
two (2) Siemens 80S-15 chipshooters, one (1) Siemens 80F-15 fine-pitch placement platform, one
(1) MPM ultraprint 3000 screenprinter, one BTU VIP 98 convection I/R oven and one (1) Genrad
2284 In-circuit tester.
NRT Contract Manufacturing
Quality / Manufacturing Engineering Manager. Based in Tallahassee, Florida, NRT was a medium
volume high mix contract manufacturer employing 125 people with annual revenues of $18 M. I
reported directly to the president of the firm, and managed a staff of nine employees. I had total

accountability for all Engineering and Facility and Equipment Maintenance. I was a member of the
sales team, as EMS services are typically a technical sale. I justified and purchased the following
capital equipment in the time frame of 36 months: 2-Philips CSM 84VZ’s, 2- Philips CSM 60's, 1-
Philips CSM-66, 1- Conceptronics I/R convection oven, 1-Technical Devices Wavesolder, 1-
Mannix hot air fine-pitch SMT rework machine, 1-Hollis SMT-10 aqueous cleaner, 1-Alpha /
Omega SMD 600 Ionic Contamination Tester, and numerous pieces of component prep
equipment. I traveled approximately 3 - 4 times per year in order to make technical presentations
to prospective and existing customers as a key member of the sales / closure team which was
chartered to secure additional business. I was a member of a three man team who lead the way to
NRT’s UL registered ISO 9002 certification in 1995; in the time frame of 9 months. The revenues at

Based in Tampa, Florida, Philips was a major force in the electronic contract manufacturing
industry. I served as a Production Manager / Lead Manufacturing Engineer. I managed a staff of
125 employees, and controlled a budget in excess of 2 million dollars annually.
I also served as the Equipment Maintenance Supervisor, and managed a staff of 27 direct
employees.
Jabil Circuit Company
Located in St. Petersburg, Florida, Jabil is a state-of-the-art high volume SMT contract
manufacturer. I served as a Manufacturing Engineer at Jabil, and was tasked with production line
support, from incoming inspection through the shipping processes. As a side project, I assisted in
the performance of all corporate testing on CFC cleaning alternatives.
Racal-Milgo
Located in Sunrise, Florida, Racal is a telecommunications OEM. I served as Production
Equipment Maintenance Supervisor, and managed a staff of 16 employees and an annual budget
of $425,000.00. Racal was a 1986 winner of the prestigious quot;PATquot; award, which is issued by
Assembly Engineering magazine. This award recognizes major advances made in productivity and
efficiency through assembly technology.
Xebec, Inc.
Located in Gardnerville, Nevada. I served as a technical support engineer. Xebec was awarded
the coveted quot;vendor of the quarterquot; award from IBM for the three consecutive quarters that I was
employed there. Xebec was also awarded the prestigious quot;vendor of the yearquot; award from Texas
Instruments during the last quarter that I was employed there.

Evaluated, justified, selected, purchased, installed, and configured two automated SMT assembly
lines (four placement machines, two screen printers, two I/R reflow ovens, one wave solder, one
aqueous cleaner, and two Genrad In-Circuit testers). Through effective team building, training,
and hard work, my staff and I improved process yields at ICT 23%, at SMT placement by 45%, and
at wavesolder by 250ppm.
