Strategic initiatives.
Puncar directly deals with “the last mile” issue, sending personnels,
connections and resources to needed remote areas. It is designed to
raise public awareness on digital divide and related issues. Ground
operations are aimed to support digital inclusion not only by channeling
urban resources to villages, but also framing discussion to support
decision making within stakeholders in local context.
In less than 6 years, the team has covered 150 towns and has put on a
mileage of more than 50,000km on the island.
Disclosure: I am co-founder of this initiative.
