Managing the operations of a large Logistics Distribution Centre (20,000 Square meters, 1000
pallets positions), dealing with KUMHO TIRES about 100000 tiers storage & destitution throughout
the KSA employing more than 25 personnel. The warehouse uses the SAP Warehouse Management
System.
Stock Control and KPI implementation
Controlled stocks of the total distribution center and implemented Key Performance
Indicators to refine and re-engineer the present system for better output. Implemented plans
for better Space utilization
Allocated “dedicated aisles” for fast moving items by measuring their inventory movements
and solve location related problems.
Customer Relations, Stock Checks and Cycle counts
Investigated and solved complaints related to inventories like shortages, excess receipts and
damages. Organized and conducted meetings with the customers for their inventory related
requirements.
Planned and conducted annual stock counts and cycle counts. Generated new reports from
computer system; changed or transferred SKU-codes and reformatted locations.
Generated and delivered reports like fast moving analysis, throughput analysis and ABC
