2. ADOBE PHOTOSHOP CS4
• Photoshop is a professional piece if software that works fast and to
a professional standard that helps me to create my product.
• I learned how to convert images it JPEG’s and other methods of
saving them and how to import and export.
• I learned how to change my images format and distort them and
also change the colours and add effects to my images. This made
my images look more appealing and professional.
• I also learned how to add things to an image and make a product
from scratch using tools like the grids ect.
3. IMOVIE
• iMovie is an effective way to edit videos, music and images together
adding effects and text where needed.
• I learned how to covert my images so they were compatible with
iMovie software.
• I learned how to use the effects to their full ability and make my
presentation as appealing as possible.
• I also learnt how to cut, mute and speed up videos that I had edited
or needed editing.
4. BLOGSPOT
• I found blogspot.com very useful for presenting my product and
the stages of making it as it helped me to organize my work to
show the progression I made in an orderly and clear way.
• I learned how to re-arrange the posts I made and make sure they
were in order.
• I also learned how to add things like Prezi’s, powerpoint’s, Youtube
video’s and images to posts in my blog using HMTL.
5. PREZI
• I found prezi.com very useful because it was a straight to point
simple way of showing my work in an unusual way.
• I learned how to add pathways to my prezi so they flow on their
own order and accord.
• I learned how to add text and images to my prezi and move it
around to make it look appealing.
• Once finished making the prezi I learned how to use a embed link
to put in into my blog.
6. SLIDESHARE
• I liked slidehare.com as it allowed me to convert my powerpoint
presentations so that they were compatible to use in my blog.
• I had to create an account and then upload my powerpoint, they
way to do this was easy and clearly guided.
• I found that SlideShare works in a similar way to Youtube and other
sites like this. It also made it a lot easier for my to create my blog
and make it look appealing.
7. GOANIMATE
• Before I started this project I had never heard of goanimate.com.
However, I found it very useful it presenting my work to an
appealing and interesting way.
• I quickly learned how to create animations and add voiceovers.
• I learned how to change the backgrounds and characters easily.
• I think GoAnimate is an easy and effective software and I will find
myself using it again.
• It was easy to embed the video and add it to my blog with ease.
8. CAMERA
• It was essential that I used the most professional equipment I could
find to create my product to the highest standards.
• I learned how to take quick and slow frame shots.
• I learned the basics of zooming and changing the setings due to the
type of scene I was taking the photos.
• I also learned how to make sure I held the camera at an distance
and angle that would be suitable for my magazine and the model I
was taking photos of.
9. CONCLUSION
In conclusion, I found all of these pieces of software essential to make my product to its full
professional ability. There was such a broad range of different technologies I could have
possibly used that I could make my product to look as professional as it could be with ease.
They also made my blog more appealing and helped show the different stages of progression
that led up to my final product.
One of the hardest things about the whole project was learning how a MAC computer works.
I have learned a lot about this piece of technology and how compatible it is with all the
different pieces of software. If I was going to do my project again I would definitely use a
MAC computer.
