Facilitate a Two-Tiered Approach to ERP Within a Cloud Environment

Subsidiaries are either an extension of the headquarters but running in separate jurisdiction/countries or they are completely independent from the HQ operating as independent business units, selling different or complimentary products or services.

To meet the needs of the subsidiaries of having autonomy and to support their specific needs, a lot of organizations adopted a multi-tier ERP strategy where there is a standard headquarter system from one vendor and multiple ERP or 2 tier systems for their subsidiaries.

Regardless of whether subsidiaries are highly dependent on HQ or highly independent, there is still a need to connect back to ha whether it is for the purpose of consolidation of financial data back or a need to share key business processes or even resources.
