PAPER WORK ON THE BEST ADVERTISEMENT
CHANNEL/PLATFORM FOR FMCG COMPANY
 The main thing a company should keep in mind before choosing a
channel for their company advertisement is-more sales for fmcg
products will come from
TIER-II cities and rural area. According to that they have to plan a
platform to advertise.
 Fmcg products are the things which are basic necessities to every
human.
 Once a time fmcg goods took 1st
position in advertising TV. Not once
a time but still they play a key role in advertising their ads in TV.
 But right now in this e-generation everything moved onto the
individual finger tips i.e., using of mobiles and tablets.
 We can see the daily analysis/reports based on usage of mobile
phones by Indians.
 To be said exactly we can see a home without TV. But we cannot see
a home without mobile phone.
 According to my view mobile is the best platform in this modern age.
Because company can advertise in so many ways making mobile as a
platform. Company can base radio as one of their channel. To hear
new songs and gossips still people use radio.
 More over 70% of mobile users use internet services in their
mobile.so online marketing is the another added service with mobile
phone.
 Through online advertising a company can advertise in various types
like keyword banner ads, viral advertising, pop ups, unsophisticated
ads. In this type of online advertising company can even save money
and can reach to most of the people.
 The advertising can even do through offline text ads.
 I used the word mobile instead of internet is because in past days
people are crazy about e-commerce but now the thing is shifted its
place to M-COMMERCE.
 It will be a good idea but I won’t say it is the only idea.
GEOGRAPHIC segmentation plays a key role in advertising for
FMCG market.
 According to geographic segmentation for rural markets direct selling
will be the best way to showcase the company products. Coming to
metropolitan cities and towns as I mentioned above mobile/online
advertising will be the best way. Still TV plays a significant role in
advertising for FMCG products.
As everything is shifting towards online advertising I am supporting
this way of advertising.
But in rural areas direct selling still plays a significant role.
