Organisation means a unit
in which two or more than
two persons work jointly for
the attainment of an
objective.
Behaviour means action
and reactions of an
individual and a group
towards their activities.
Example: a club, a school ,
etc.
Example : a person is
happy on getting
assignment.
MEANING OF ORGANISATIONAL BEHAVIOUR

the behaviour of the people while
living in the organisation.

According to Fred Luthans ,
“Behaviour is directly concerned
with the understanding , prediction
and control of human behaviour in
organisations .”

3.OB is multi-disciplinary.
4.OB has three level of study.
5.OB is change oriented.
6.OB is both a science and an art.

INTRODUCTION OF ORGANISATIONAL BEHAVIOUR Organisational behaviour Organisation + behaviour Organisation means a unit in which two or more than two persons work jointly for the attainment of an objective. Behaviour means action and reactions of an individual and a group towards their activities. Example: a club, a school , etc. Example : a person is happy on getting assignment.
