Asking for directions is very important because if one day
we decide to travel to another country we must know how
to communicate in any given situation.
One of the main example would be if we get lost in
another country we should be able to ask for directions
and have enough vocabulary to communicate with local
people.

Imagine that you are on an outing with your family and
suddenly you see a foreigner and he tries to ask you for
directions to get to his hotel.
It will be imperative for you to know the necessary key
words to be able to explain to that person how to get to
the desired place.
1. Go + direction (right, left, down, up, through)
2. Turn left / turn right
3. Take the first turning to the left / right
4. Go past the restaurant/school/ bank….
5. The ….. Is beside / on front ot / next to the…
6. Take + road name

8. It’s opposite ….
9. It’s around the corner from …
10. Turn right at the next Street.
11. It’s going to be on your right.
You can go straight on Bond Street than turn right
at King’s Road. The Café is next to the Italian
restaurant and in front of the bus station.
