● Computers are not common in Hong Kong.
● Some 2nd hand computers were installed
in school library, and free for students.
● I started to use and learn computers.
● I wrote 1st GWBASIC program at 1st month,
not “Hello World”.
● Learnt DOS and UNIX commands from
books.

● I had my own PC at home.
● I operated a dialup BBS.
● I subscribed commerical interent service.
● I found a UNIX OS which can be run on PC
computers.
