2. LADY DIANA
Diana, Princess of Wales is born 1 July 1961, she was the first
wife of Charles, Prince of Wales, whom she married on 29
July 1981, and a member of the British Royal Family. She was
also well known for her fund-raising work for international
charities, and an eminent celebrity of the late 20th century.
Her wedding to Charles, heir to the British throne and those of
the then 18 Commonwealth realms, was held at St Paul's
Cathedral and seen by a global television audience of over
750 million.
3. While married she bore the courtesy titles Princess of
Wales, Duchess of Cornwall, Duchess of Rothesay,
Countess of Chester and Baroness of Renfrew. The
marriage produced two sons, the princes William and
Harry, currently second and third in line to the throne,
respectively. Diana was born into an aristocratic English
family with royal ancestry and became a public figure with
the announcement of her engagement to Prince Charles.
Diana also received recognition for her charity work and for
her support of the International Campaign to Ban
Landmines.

Charles, Prince of Wales, was born 14 November

7. THEIR STORY
