1. Sound Wave
Korean artist Jean Shin created this sculpture
"Sound Wave" (2007) out of melted vinyl
records to connote "the inevitable waves of
technology that render each successive
generation of recordable media obsolete.“
I think this sculpture is very environmentally
friendly because it re-uses old records which
most people just pile up and don’t use again.
The sculpture looks very good and must have
taken a long time to make because as you can
see to melt each record to the other and create
a structure would take a long time.
I think this sculpture inspires people to make
more sculptures made from recycled materials
as it looks great and a lot of people can’t waste
time on buying new materials and being not
environmentally friendly.
