2. ABSTRACT
MVoip or simply MVoip is an extension of mobility
voice over internet protocol network. MVoip will require a
compromise between economy and mobility and also all
base stations to communicate on one LAN smart phones
became capable of sending and receiving email,
browsing the web allowing a user to watch TV . MVoip
users were predicted to exceed 100 million by 2012 and
in projects 288 million subscribers by 2013.
3. INTRODUCTION
MVoip: The MVoip protocol is a platform
independent and can be implemented for any
Voice over IP application(VoIP).
Voip: Voice over IP is a methodology and group
of technologies for the delivery of voice
communications and multimedia sessions over
(IP) networks, such as the Internet. Other terms
commonly associated with VoIP are IP
telephony, Internet telephony, broadband
telephony, and broadband phone service.

MVOIP is a feasible, means of handling mobility

support at the IP level. Because hand-off in
MVOIP is strictly between the two
communicating clients and does not require the
use of specialized agents , it is a scalable
approach to mobility.
