Introduction
Solar Panel Rotation Control Using Optical Sensor 3October 26, 2020
✓ Arduino UNO rotates the solar plate with fixed angle using motor.
✓ Solar plate photo electric charge is stores in the battery.
✓ The stored charge can be used for different purposes.
✓ LDR (Light Detecting Resistor) will detect light from different angles.
✓ Actually optical sensor also generates signal and sends to Micro-controller.
✓ Battery voltage will be monitored by android application (Blue Serial).

• We are using coal, gas, petrol continuously. All of this fossil fuels are limited. Imagine one day all of this fossil
fuels will be ended. For the next centuries we must have to depend on renewable energy.
• Sun light is one of the important renewable energy. To utilize the light of sun properly we need a special
technology to generate the electrical energy.
• Solar tracking system is the best solution to generate electrical energy without using petrol, coal, gas etc.
• All countries sun rising and falling angle is not exact east to west. 360 degree rotation of solar panel is so
important for all global peoples.

Their Limitations :
 They have not used light detecting live sensor (LDR).
 At cloudy sky timer base tracking system is unnecessary.
 They have no charge monitoring system.
 Just East West tracking is not perfect for all global people.

My Contribution :
 I have used dual axis solar tracking system.
 Live time solar tracking system using LDR.
 When cloud will remove from sky at a time, then LDR will detect light and move
to its right position.
 I have used an application software for monitoring charge and battery condition
which name is Blue Serial.

Methodology:
 Actually photo electric effect is used for generating electricity.
 Rotation angle and controlling will be done by the microcontroller IC
Atmega-328.
 Microcontroller stores the C# programming instructions.
 Finally the charge data amount will be send to mobile using Bluetooth
module HC-05.

✓ At roof of the high buildings for getting energy at load-shedding period.
✓ At solar power plant we can use this technology for much power achievement.
✓ Solar power can be store in high backup battery and we can charge polymer-lithium
battery based cars (Example-BMW) / Battery base auto-bike.

Future Works

✓ Solar power plant with tracker can be developed in Bangladesh which will
be connected with national power grid.
✓ High buildings roof as like in Dhaka city can use this typical solar
tracker for meeting load-shedding.
 IOT base battery condition monitoring system can be developed using
Wifi module.

Introduction Solar Panel Rotation Control Using Optical Sensor 3October 26, 2020 ✓ Arduino UNO rotates the solar plate with fixed angle using motor. ✓ Solar plate photo electric charge is stores in the battery. ✓ The stored charge can be used for different purposes. ✓ LDR (Light Detecting Resistor) will detect light from different angles. ✓ Actually optical sensor also generates signal and sends to Micro-controller. ✓ Battery voltage will be monitored by android application (Blue Serial).

Imagine one day all of this fossil fuels will be ended. For the next centuries we must have to depend on renewable energy. • Sun light is one of the important renewable energy. To utilize the light of sun properly we need a special technology to generate the electrical energy. • Solar tracking system is the best solution to generate electrical energy without using petrol, coal, gas etc. • All countries sun rising and falling angle is not exact east to west. 360 degree rotation of solar panel is so important for all global peoples.

October 26, 2020 Solar Panel Rotation Control Using Optical Sensor 7 Their Limitations :  They have not used light detecting live sensor (LDR).  At cloudy sky timer base tracking system is unnecessary.  They have no charge monitoring system.  Just East West tracking is not perfect for all global people.

October 26, 2020 Solar Panel Rotation Control Using Optical Sensor 8 My Contribution :  I have used dual axis solar tracking system.  Live time solar tracking system using LDR.  When cloud will remove from sky at a time, then LDR will detect light and move to its right position.  I have used an application software for monitoring charge and battery condition which name is Blue Serial.
