This document summarizes three behavioral theories: Hugo Münsterberg's theory proposed matching industrial psychological management and facilities of labour. Douglas McGregar's Theory X assumes employees dislike work and need close supervision, while Theory Y assumes employees are self-motivated and creative. Abraham Maslow's theory proposes a hierarchy of human needs from basic to higher needs and that fulfilling lower needs allows one to pursue higher needs.
