established in 2007 solely for philanthropic purposes. We work for
Youth Empowerment, Science Communication, Social Awareness
to achieve Universal Brotherhood which will lead to WORLD
PEACE & Safeguard mother Earth from Manmade disasters.
About Takale Charitable Trust :
‘TAKALE CHARITABLE TRUST’ has been established to spread Education &
Computer literacy among masses. Trust runs it’s own Computer Centers for poor
& needy students. Till date more than 10000 students have taken benefit from
same. Trust also offers free of cost guidance for various vocational
courses, which includes field of NDT, Welding, Preparation for competitive
examinations, Personality development, Career Guidance, Communication skills
& Language courses.

Trust mainly works for Youth empowerment, Science Communication or science
Popularisation, Social Forestry, Conservation of Natural resources & Protection
of wild life. Trust also organizes free medical camps at remote, tribal areas. All the

activities of Trust are managed & funded by it’s FOUNDER.
About Takale Charitable Trust :
Trust organizes All India level, Open essay competition on current, happening
topics. Till date SEZ-Merits & Demerits, Global warming & Social Forestry, Human
Society & Superstitions are the topics covered. The intent was to spread
awareness among masses.
Trust annually felicitates Citizens, Teachers & NGO’s involved in philanthropic
work, Science Communication & Eradication of superstitions, to encourage such
social activities in society.

As a part of self initiative for Youth empowerment, Science communication,
Eradication of superstitions & Conservation of Natural resources/Wild life, various
sessions/lectures are conducted in School, Colleges & Villages free of cost. Till

date (Aug-2013) more than 350 numbers of such programs are conducted all
over India & approximately 70000 numbers of general public has been
addressed.
About Takale Charitable Trust :
Trust has planned to start it’s GURUKUL at Shirdhon, Panvel,
Raigad, MH-410206 by Nov-2013. The center will work on
objective of „Building better citizen for Better World‟.
Economically backward students will be provided with healthy
food for body as well as healthy thought for Mind. These students
will be guided & groomed by experts to choose their independent
& ethical path of life.

 Prize Distribution :
The ‘Takale Charitable Trust’ is active in various social &
educational fields. For promoting interest in education and
studies annually prizes are given to meritorious students, from
various schools & colleges in and around Panvel, Uran &
Khalapur tahsil. Under this agenda total 1248 students were
honoured in year-2008, 1686 students in year 2009 & 1430
students in year 2010 and 1351 students in year 2011.

 Computer Literacy:
Trust runs its own computer education center named ICIT (Institute for Computers &
Information Technology).

Intent :
ICIT came in existence with basic intent of educating, guiding as well as assisting poor
& under privileged classes of society.

Centers :
To fulfill the above said intent TCT has started computer centers at Shirdhon , Panvel,
Jasai & Uran.

Achievements :
Till date more than 10000 nos. of students had been made computer literate
and most of them are already on job.
 Vocational Training :
 Intent :
Village population is sincere and dedicated but there is lack of confidence & technical skills. To
overcome these drawbacks and to build skilled manpower for local industries from local
masses following vocational trainings are arranged in the form of courses and lecture series.

Welding & Workshop Technology :

The founder & advisor of TCT being working & having wide experience in the same field offers
free lectures on above topics in different colleges and institutions. These include ITI, Polytech
& Engineering Colleges/Universities all over India.
Health & Hygiene :
 Medical Relief :

The trust had conducted the Dental check up Camp for ‘Zilha Parishad
school Shirdhon’ on 31-12-2007. Dr. Madhuri Takale had helped with all
her knowledge and experience and told the importance of dental
hygiene to school kids, parents & teachers. About 200 students were
checked for dental problems. Every student was given Toothpaste and
toothbrush free of cost. Prizes in the form of books were given to the
students with good check up results.
 Funding for Treatment of Poor :
The trust has funded donation of Rs. 5000/- to Mr. P K. Sarkar residing
New Panvel for treatment of his daughter Sushmita Sarkar for Aplastic
Anaemia (a bone marrow disease).

In similar case , person with hearing disability was provided with Hearing
Aid, in coordination with Dr. Parag Kalan, Panvel.

 Spreading awareness about healthy living :
The trust had arranged lectures of Dr. Patkar, Psychiatrist from Panvel &

Dr. Jasmine Tamboli, Gynecologist from Nerul to make people aware of
healthy living.
Youth Empowerment
 Career Guidance :
Career guidance course is intended to make students aware of
competitiveness in present professional world. The efforts are made to
guide students for proper career selection and put them on suitable
career path.

The advisor of the trust- Santosh Takale takes out time from his busy
schedule to give lectures on ‘Career Guidance’ in different schools and
colleges free of cost.

In future students can be groomed for MPSC, UPSC (IAS/IES), GRE,
GMAT, CAT, CEED, IIT-JEE, AIEEE, MH-CET etc. Free of cost.
Youth Empowerment
 Personality Development
The Personality Development courses are intended to make students aware of
competitiveness in present professional world. Students from poor background are taught
free. Especially village students are groomed for acquiring jobs in cities.

 Life is Special Camp by TCT :
Trust is organizing Life special camps for youths & Professionals to guide them for their
future in context to career & Life. The camp is residential camp at NGO’s HQ TCTSHIRDHON. Here team of experts & Experienced selfless people guide participants on
various extra curricular activities including utilizing their valuable time to find out self interest
& life goal. They are groomed to utilize their potential for shaping their future and enjoy this
beautiful life………Because LIFE is Special.

Life is limited, hence these sessions are intended to make youths aware of planning
& utilizing available time to fullest extent. Similarly stress has become inevitable part

of daily life, managing it properly is also important. Session on stress management
addresses this issue.

 Communication Skills :
World salutes to them, who can communicate better. Based on this saying, TCT
helps youth to develop their communication ability apart from improving their
language skills. Students are taught to present themselves on various occasions
such as interview, GD & other important events of life including public speaking.

English has become the basic need of today’s fast moving world. The Spoken

English classes are run by the Trust to make students able to communicate in
English in their day to day life as well as to present themselves to the
professional world.

Pratham :

Pratham has it’s one of Girls orphanage in New Panvel. TCT sends its
representatives to guide the students in their studies and other living
aspects. The care taker Ms. Meera of the orphanage was taught free
computer course so that her knowledge can be used by the students
as and when required.

Nature Conservation :

Tree Plantation
For International Forest Year 2011 by UN, TCT along with CON (Care
of Nature), Veshvi, Uran had organized 'Tree Plantation program at
Ekvira mountain, Near Veshvi Village, Uran, Raigad, Maharashtra. On
26th June 2011.
This was a small step to spread awareness and help in conserving the
forest for the benefit of current & future generation. Total 500 trees
were planted in this program. Trust had sponsored 200 trees.
Same Year Trust has organised essay competition on “ Global
Warming & Social Forestry”.
Nature Conservation :
Safeguarding Environment from Pollution :
TCT along with MANiS & Eco Club ( HARIT SENA) conducts a
project against the pollution due to crackers in Diwali. Above stated
organizations go to different schools and make the students aware of
various hazards of crackers and other fireworks on human health &
environment and convince them not to use / use less crackers &
fireworks.
This project got tremendous response from many schools. TCT used
electronic as well as print media to reach this message to more than
10,00,000 nos. of people each year since 2009. The received resolution
regarding non use of fireworks was almost of INR more than 50 Lacs
Rupees each year by only TCT efforts. Total saving by all organisations
is about 2 to 3 crores Rupees & much more valuable environment each
year.
 Lecture series on Nature Conservation :

Lectures are delivered on following subjects to spread

awareness among people regarding Nature & Species.

2. Snakes : Myths & Facts.
3. Nature Around Us.
4. Water Conservation : Protecting common future of All.

This is the first time that TRUST wants to have external funds.
Till date (Since Year 1997) all the expenses were borne by
Founder Santosh Takale. The expected expenses for GURUKUL
are as below :

 Essay & Elocution competitions :
The ‘trust’ also organizes ‘Essay & Elocution’ competition on
current, most happening topics. All participants were given
Participation Certificates. Qualified participants were given
Trophies & the First, Second & Third rankers were honoured
with Rs. 1500/-, 1000/- & 500/- respectively as Competition
prizes.
 In year 2007-08 Essay competition was organized on the subject
“SEZ – Advantages & Disadvantages”. There were total 170 entries.
 In year 2010-11 Essay competition subject was “Global Warming &
Social Forestry”. There were total 350 entries.
In year 2011-12 Essay competition subject was “Human Society &
Superstitions”. There were total 410 entries.
Social Awareness :

Takale Charitable Trust Presentation

  • 1. Regd. No. E-592 (Shirdhon, Panvel, Raigad, Maharahstra-410206). „Takale Charitable Trust‟ is nonprofit organization (NGO) established in 2007 solely for philanthropic purposes. We work for Youth Empowerment, Science Communication, Social Awareness to achieve Universal Brotherhood which will lead to WORLD PEACE & Safeguard mother Earth from Manmade disasters.
  • 2. About Takale Charitable Trust : ‘TAKALE CHARITABLE TRUST’ has been established to spread Education & Computer literacy among masses. Trust runs it’s own Computer Centers for poor & needy students. Till date more than 10000 students have taken benefit from same. Trust also offers free of cost guidance for various vocational courses, which includes field of NDT, Welding, Preparation for competitive examinations, Personality development, Career Guidance, Communication skills & Language courses. Trust mainly works for Youth empowerment, Science Communication or science Popularisation, Social Forestry, Conservation of Natural resources & Protection of wild life. Trust also organizes free medical camps at remote, tribal areas. All the activities of Trust are managed & funded by it’s FOUNDER.
  • 3. About Takale Charitable Trust : Trust organizes All India level, Open essay competition on current, happening topics. Till date SEZ-Merits & Demerits, Global warming & Social Forestry, Human Society & Superstitions are the topics covered. The intent was to spread awareness among masses. Trust annually felicitates Citizens, Teachers & NGO’s involved in philanthropic work, Science Communication & Eradication of superstitions, to encourage such social activities in society. As a part of self initiative for Youth empowerment, Science communication, Eradication of superstitions & Conservation of Natural resources/Wild life, various sessions/lectures are conducted in School, Colleges & Villages free of cost. Till date (Aug-2013) more than 350 numbers of such programs are conducted all over India & approximately 70000 numbers of general public has been addressed.
  • 4. About Takale Charitable Trust : Trust has planned to start it’s GURUKUL at Shirdhon, Panvel, Raigad, MH-410206 by Nov-2013. The center will work on objective of „Building better citizen for Better World‟. Economically backward students will be provided with healthy food for body as well as healthy thought for Mind. These students will be guided & groomed by experts to choose their independent & ethical path of life.

  • 12. Promotion of Education  Prize Distribution : The ‘Takale Charitable Trust’ is active in various social & educational fields. For promoting interest in education and studies annually prizes are given to meritorious students, from various schools & colleges in and around Panvel, Uran & Khalapur tahsil. Under this agenda total 1248 students were honoured in year-2008, 1686 students in year 2009 & 1430 students in year 2010 and 1351 students in year 2011. Achievements : Till date more than 10000 nos. of students had been made computer literate and most of them are already on job.

  • 21. Health & Hygiene :  Medical Relief : The trust had conducted the Dental check up Camp for ‘Zilha Parishad school Shirdhon’ on 31-12-2007. Dr. Madhuri Takale had helped with all her knowledge and experience and told the importance of dental hygiene to school kids, parents & teachers. About 200 students were checked for dental problems. Every student was given Toothpaste and toothbrush free of cost. Prizes in the form of books were given to the students with good check up results.

Nature Conservation : Tree Plantation For International Forest Year 2011 by UN, TCT along with CON (Care of Nature), Veshvi, Uran had organized 'Tree Plantation program at Ekvira mountain, Near Veshvi Village, Uran, Raigad, Maharashtra. On 26th June 2011. This was a small step to spread awareness and help in conserving the forest for the benefit of current & future generation. Total 500 trees were planted in this program. Trust had sponsored 200 trees. Same Year Trust has organised essay competition on “ Global Warming & Social Forestry”.
  • 59. Nature Conservation : Safeguarding Environment from Pollution : TCT along with MANiS & Eco Club ( HARIT SENA) conducts a project against the pollution due to crackers in Diwali. Above stated organizations go to different schools and make the students aware of various hazards of crackers and other fireworks on human health & environment and convince them not to use / use less crackers & fireworks. This project got tremendous response from many schools. TCT used electronic as well as print media to reach this message to more than 10,00,000 nos. of people each year since 2009. The received resolution regarding non use of fireworks was almost of INR more than 50 Lacs Rupees each year by only TCT efforts.
