Combat Game Cut Scene Inspired by Fighting Games
1. 1. RYAN T: The genre for our game cut sequence is combat, we got inspiration for our
game from games like Mortal Kombat X, Street Fighter, Sole Calibur and Tekken. All
these games are pretty similar with their cut scenes and the way you play them.
2. CHARLOTTE: Mortal Kombat X is a violent fighting game that shows a lot of blood,
guts and gore, every so often when you do a special attack the game will zoom into
what is happening to the other player to kill them and show you what’s going on, it
even uses X-rays sometimes.
3. RYAN G: Street Fighter is a combat game that is pretty much almost all punching and
kicking with special abilities, weapons aren’t really used in street fighter. There is a
lot less blood shown in this game compared to Mortal Kombat.
4. RAYCHEL: In Soul Calibur more weapons are used than actual fist fighting and
kicking. There are quite a lot of special moves that you can perform and many
different combos.
5. RYAN T: Tekken is more like Street Fighter with its fighting using punching and
kicking as your main attacks. One of the main differences though is some of the
characters are part robot or have parts from some sort of animal mix in with them,
so like cat ears and tails etc
6. TOM: Our characters are very stereotypical and funny characters, one of them is a
very muscular Mexican man with a high pitched voice called Juan Rico Jones and the
other character is a sassy African American woman with a deep voice. But unlike
other combat games there will be no characters that are any sort of creature or
robot.
7. RYAN G: The cut scene sequence will be based in either an oil rig, city or a jungle and
is a convocation between the two characters throwing insults at each other before
they start to fight. There will also be some sort of battle music in the background.
8. CALUM: The audio will be like the sounds and music in the background of the games
that inspired us like Street Fighter and mortal K X. The talking will be recorded in the
college recording studio the other sounds will be made on reaper by us or we will
use some royalty-free music that has already been made.
