So some background on Kontagent guys. We were actually founded in 2007, as a yelp style application, but our cofounders were keen enough to pivot pretty quickly to build the company around data science, as that was really their core background. After a few years of R&D mode and I believe it was around the middle of 2010, that we started to scale and become enterprise company. So we’ve grown from a group that was just under 10, to now a team over 100. We manage 35 million daily active users across a couple hundred enterprise customers. So we are pretty proud of that growth.
So really Why Kontagent- it kind starts for us with this Mantra of believing that all companies should be using data to drive decision making. And this understanding that the market is ultra competitive so the cost of acquiring users keeps going up. I heard an anecdote the other day where the cost of acquiring a customer is slightly higher then that average customers Lifetime Value. So it’s really about providing the right insights around your customer’s economics. These pillars here are really the foundation of KontagentSo, in terms of the 1st one there user centric data. We’re fundamentally built from the ground up to provide user level insights. So this literally means attributing all actions back to a user. So that goes way beyond your basic cookies and page views to really granular insights that can help you improve things monetization, user experience and retention right? And for us it’s that focus on the RIGHT data that really matters. The 2nd one here Domain Expertise is a real differentiator for us beyond our enterprise platform. We bring expertise in Social and Mobile ecosystem that comes with being really around since the inception of the app economy. So with hundreds of customers and thousands of these use cases, those best practices and context around accurate and actionable data are there for us to bring to bear if you will. And lastly the 3rd pillar here Accessibility. We want everyone on your team to be able to access and act on the data. And as we walk thru the dashboard you’ll get a better sense for this. It’s important for each person to have their own actionable views, and fundamentally everyone should be acting off the same, on demand, near real-time data. And we worth with you to bring consistency to those metrics
Ok this slide speaks to understanding your customer economics. Just on a high level here, we take a very prescriptive approach to helping you gain customer insights. Your app mechanics and user flows are unique to your app. We know that you understand your application the best so it’s really our goal to listen to you and help you optimize those levers around engagement, retention and monetization to increase your customer lifetime value.
Ok in terms of what’s out there. You know there’s a new Social Analytics company popping up what seems like everyday. What I always tell people is to talk to our customers, and you get a good feel for what were all about.
You know I mentioned we are a company founded on data science right? It’s engrained in our DNA for the last 5 years, and we’ve been successful making it useful and baking into the platform.. And then bringing out these other tenants of core business things like professional services, and account support that really allow our customers to thrive and us to continue to grow.
Ok, the Data Science is what our company revolves around, and we want to ensure that you have everyone using the same data with their own relevant views to make decisions. You’ll get a better sense for this when we look at the dashboard. But our domain expertise spans a broad spectrum from the top of the funnel marketing attribution and user behavior, all the way down to really granular user insights at an analysts level.
OkKsuiteDataMine is our newly released Data Mining tool that we can take a look at some point. And it was developed really from customer feedback, like you know we really love the dashboards but we’d love to drill deeper into our data and get that information that may not be attributable to or look good in a dashboard right? So now you have the ability to really dive in and ask any question of the data. And it’s fully hosted and doesn’t require any additional instrumentation. Umm its an add on product for us, so it does have separate pricing I can share with you after the call.
Ok on this one guys, after we get someone on board we assign an account manager and data scientist to them, and we kickoff this roadmap to success. This gives you more of a high level look at the different phases we undertake. It really is a crawl, walk, run sort of approach. We’ll have this planning phase basically in the form of meetings where we get a feel for what some of the main use cases are going to be for you, and after the planning and discovery takes place, our team will essentially bake that into the technical integration. And what I’ll do after the call I’ll send along this roadmap, as well as the rest API documentation, which has some great information on how data flows from your application to ours, and what instrumentation methods are available. And what we can do is maybe actually schedule a more technical call with our teams around implementation, as I’m sure your guys there will have some questions ok? And as far as ongoing support, once you get up and going, we like check in in every few weeks course we’re and of course we’re on call anytime you need some help or training and even as your team grows.
