Editor's Notes
Good Afternoon and welcome to St. George’s. My name is CC-M and I’m the Admissions Manager here. The programme for today includes this presentation followed by a Q & A session and then at about 2.45pm the Student Union President will give you a short talk about the ‘Student experience’ at SGUL which will then be followed by a tour of the student facilities. The Open day aims to finish at about 4pmish. If I could mention one housekeeping point – if the fire alarm sounds you will be escorted by staff to the nearest assembly point, on the ground floor, using the doors at the back of the lecture theatre. This is just a short presentation about the University – it’s history and where we are today. I will also tell you about the undergraduate courses we offer and entry requirements necessary and give you some details about why you might like to study at St. George’s.
